Role Description: The Project Manager II will provide project management, leadership and coordination for projects or project work streams. They are responsible for overall project scope, schedule, cost and risk management. They will independently manage project quality, timeliness, and safety as well as developing and improving customer relationships by providing excellent service. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels, clients, vendors, and partners alike. The Project Manager II will mentor, train and lead personnel on standards, processes, procedures and quality control measures for the performance of TE services. The Project Manager II must remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, efficient, and confident with a high level of integrity and confidentiality while taking projects end to end.
Job Responsibilities:

• Initial site visit to develop scope of work for proposal for review by Senior Project Manager or Principal
• Site visits and create as -builts of existing conditions – best if engineer can attend as well
• Review scope of work generated by Senior Project Manager/Principal once project is approved – if not generated by PM II
• Coordinate the design strategy with Sr. Project Manager/Principal before beginning design if required – if not generated by PM II
• Coordinate/maintain schedule with design team (internal and external)
• Set internal and external dates for the duration of the design
• Coordinate the design schedule and strategy with Engineer
• Oversee calculations and design
• Initial design review
• Review narrative for add service as well as write and send for those not authorized to do so
• Initial design review
• Track and manage employee goals and progress
• Responsible for project budgets and allocations
• Including all responsibilities for Project Manager I, Sr. Project Engineer, Project Engineer II, Project Engineer I and Drafter
